Hazel Goes Cook School’s mission is to empower students to become responsible global citizens and lifelong learners. We are committed to fostering students to become inquiring, knowledgeable, and caring participants in a diverse, multicultural, democratic society through quality education and high expectations. Our students will be prepared with the knowledge and compassion to equip them with the expertise to be globally active leaders of the 21st century.

The Chula Vista Elementary School District (CVESD) was recognized at the annual Leadership Biliteracy Symposium, hosted by the San Diego County Office of Education.

The Chula Vista Elementary School District (CVESD) has been recognized with the Best Communities for Music Education (BCME) Award from The NAMM Foundation, honoring the district’s outstanding commitment to music education and equitable access to the arts for all students.

At the April 8 Board of Education meeting, the Chula Vista Elementary School District (CVESD) Board approved adopting a new History–Social Science curriculum, Social Studies Weekly, for students in kindergarten through sixth grade.
At the Chula Vista Elementary School District (CVESD), we deeply value the voices and experiences of our students, families, and staff. As part of our ongoing commitment to listen, learn, and continuously improve, CVESD partners with Hanover Research to administer an End-of-Year Survey that provides important insight into how we can strengthen the learning environment for every student.
